Bioluminescence Night Kayaking at Havelock Island
Bioluminescence Kayaking
₹3500.00₹2000.00
Activity Overview
Bioluminescence night kayaking is a guided experience conducted after sunset in suitable creeks or calm coastal waters around Havelock Island. The natural glow is produced by microscopic marine organisms that may emit light when the water is disturbed by a paddle or kayak.
Before entering the water, participants receive instructions on paddling, steering, balance and night-kayaking safety. The guide leads the group through an authorised route selected according to tides, weather, water movement and visibility.
The bioluminescent effect is completely natural, seasonal and unpredictable. Its visibility cannot be guaranteed on any particular night.

Bioluminescence is generally easier to observe under dark skies with limited moonlight and minimal artificial lighting. Its appearance depends on plankton concentration, water temperature, tides, currents, rainfall and other natural conditions.
New-moon periods may offer darker viewing conditions, but even then the glow cannot be promised. Photographs taken with ordinary mobile phones may not capture the phenomenon as clearly as it appears to the human eye.
All bookings are subject to availability and final operator confirmation.
Customer-requested cancellations will follow the policy mentioned on the booking voucher.
No refund may apply for late arrival, absence or failure to follow safety instructions.
If the activity cannot operate because of unsuitable tides or weather, rescheduling or a refund will be handled according to the applicable operator policy.
Absence or limited visibility of bioluminescence after the kayaking session begins does not qualify for a refund.
No refund applies when participation is refused due to intoxication, undisclosed medical conditions or unsafe behaviour.
Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon and sightings are never guaranteed. The activity should be marketed primarily as a guided night-kayaking experience with the possibility of observing bioluminescent plankton. Timings, routes and operations remain subject to tides, weather and local permissions.
